Anne Marie’s Favorite Family Recipes is easily my go-to cookbook whenever I want to try new Caribbean recipes. The instructions are clear and well thought-out and I find the variety inclusive of many cultures in the Caribbean. Some of our family favorites are Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Citrus Glazed Salmon, and Winter Vegetable Stew. My daughter often makes the Caribbean Mango Punch and the Christmas Oreo Truffles are a must-have every holiday! It's a wonderful cookbook.

Though I’m Jamaican, I don’t always encounter foods from other Caribbean islands. I love that Anne Marie's Family Favorites has authentic recipes from many islands (avocado daiquiris from Dominica, rum punch from Guyana and fun recipes like, Between the Sheets, Belly Blasting Soup etc. Don't hesitate to buy if you are looking for a simple-to-follow cookbook (182 recipes) with a little bit of everything, for carnivores and vegetarians alike. A must-try - salmon with red cabbage!
